ABOUT YOUMANS CARPET & UPHOLSTERY CLEANING

 

Raised in a small town outside Albany, New York, Jim graduated high school and joined the Marine Corps. Honorably discharged three years later, he moved to Ledyard, Connecticut to be near relatives and to start his current, carpet cleaning business.

Jim was raised with a strong sense of religious and moral values as well as ethical business practices passed down by his parents who were both self-employed. These high standards are the cornerstone of the service that Jim proudly gives every customerand this is what makes Youmans Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning standout among others. As Jim puts it "I AM the company"!

Jim is an active member of the Ledyard Lions Club and past-President of the New London Chapter of Business Network International (BNI). He is an IICRC Certified Master Cleaner and Youmans Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning is an IICRC Certified Firm.

Youmans Carpet Cleaning is also an active supporter of John Clark’s “Ride for Alzheimer’s”! Each summer Youmans Carpet Cleaning will donate a percentage of all paid, residential, carpet cleaning jobs completed in the months of July and August to help fight this disease and bring some much needed relief to care givers.
